About Work - Cops, Crooks and Cabbies On a graveyard shift, a buddy and I stopped a kid on one of the high school campuses. The kid was giving us grief for 'slowing him down' at 3am when my buddy told him, 'Son, at 3am there are only 3 kinds of people out here: Cops, Crooks, and Cabbies.' With a hard tone he continued, 'You don't look like the first two, and you don't wanna be the last one.' After that the kid was very cooperative and was soon on his way.
