Of computers and pigs...

The home now is using an old P3-500 system. The dead 1GHz Duron is sitting on the floor. Its not that I mind the P3, its just that I hate the Duron for going tits-up on me. All is again right. The P3 runs fine, but its a P3 after all and I realy hate down grading my system.

Computer Saga Continues....

I cant get the PC to work. I tried everything last night. I clean parts, pulled parts and had nothing in it when I booted it and it still wont go. So now I'm down to using my server for my temporary PC. And the damn server wont let me log into Hotmail. When it goes from bad it just seems to get worse.

Ever have one of those weeks?

Damn Computers...

What can I say. For all intensive purposes my PC is dead.

It started making a clicking sound and froze up. So I bought a new harc drive, thinking that was the problem... well it wasn't. I'm so pissed right now. Its late and I have an early briefing tomorrow. Fucking piece of shit.

Maybe tomorrow I'll vaccuum out tne case and clean every part.

Thank God for my Pocket PC and wireless router or I couldn't even check my email.

The Fish tank...

as the saga continues...

All of the original guppies have died. As I said earlier, the tank is doing good now. I bought a second pair of Swordtails fopr the tank. The male from this new group decided to do some exploration and got stuck in the low plants (fry safe area) and dies yesterday.

The shrimp have been living in the low plants and doing fine. Though I may have lost one as I've only seen two. The guppie I thought was a male is a female. She's plain bodied and has a yellow and black tail. The male, a Tequilla Sunrise, is hot after the female Swortails. Go figure.

The three Zebra Danio's are doing great. All over the tank.

The Beta is good also....

Can you tell I'm wasting space?

Ever have one...

... of those days? It's actually been a few of those days. I run a employment list (all be it an almost dead list - and a longer different story) and allowed a post about a new LE list a guy was setting up. BAM! Out of the woodwork people come complaining to the list that they have been hoodwinked... added to the list against their will... all the conspiracy theories. I guess no one expected much from the list and when they got it they didnt know what to do with all the unwanted email. The only upside is that now the list is back down to its usual size and a number of dissinterested parties have gone.

Sorry... I just wanted to rant a bit ;-)
